ABOUT THE DENTAL PRACTICE CONSORTIUM

Background on the Dental Practice Consortium, Inc.

In August 2023, five Indiana dental practices formed the Dental Practice Consortium, Inc. The Consortium was established to provide health and other benefit coverages to Indiana dental practices that are members of the IDA Employer Association, Inc. The Consortium is registered as a multiple employer welfare arrangement (MEWA) with both the United States Department of Labor and the Indiana Department of Insurance. The Consortium commenced offering coverage on January 1, 2024.

Prior to January 1, 2024, many dental practices received coverage through the IDA Insurance Trust. The IDA Insurance Trust terminated its health plan on December 31, 2023.

The Dental Practice Consortium Board has elected to work with a team of outstanding professionals to ensure that The Consortium is financially sound and always knowledgeable with up to date information within the market.
